Tragic Loss: Former Vice President Namadi Sambo Mourns the Passing of His Brother

Alhaji Suleiman Sambo leaves behind his spouse, 11 children, 52 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.

 

Alhaji Suleiman Sambo, related to former Vice President Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, has passed away.

He died on Monday at the age of 82 after battling a prolonged illness.

Alhaji Suleiman is survived by his spouse, 11 offspring, 52 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.

Prior to his passing, he worked in the Government Printing Department within the former Ministry of Information and Home Affairs in Kaduna State, retiring as Chief Superintendent in 1994 after three and a half decades of service.

His funeral took place yesterday at the Bashama Road Cemetery.

The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and well-wishers, including former Vice President Namadi Sambo and various religious and traditional dignitaries.
