Trump administration has updated its travel ban, as they announced additional states among the travel ban restrictions. 8 countries are now affected, citizens of those countries would not be allowed to enter the United state. And if at all, they are allowed it must be under strict vetting system, or guideline provided by the Home Land Security Office.
Among the countries affected are North Korea, Venezuela, Chad, Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Somalia. Apart from newly included North Korea, and Venezuela, the rest are from mostly Muslim dominated countries. The new restrictions on travel vary by country and included a phased-in approach beginning next month.
Trump stated on Twitter ”Making America safe is my number one priority. We will not admit those into our country we cannot vet”. The White House claimed the restrictions are a set to establish an immigration system that protects Americans’ Safety and Security in an era of dangerous terrorism and transnational crime.
