Nigerian Lawyer’s Bold Stance on DNA Testing
In a recent statement, Nigerian lawyer Stella expressed her willingness to undergo a DNA test if her husband questions the parentage of their children.
She emphasized, however, that in exchange for agreeing to the test, her spouse would need to sign a contract ensuring he would compensate her with N100 million for the emotional distress caused by his doubts, as she is confident of the children’s paternity.
Stella encouraged women not to fear DNA tests if they have nothing to hide. She shared her thoughts in a Facebook post on Thursday, stating:
“If my HUSBAND ever DOUBTS the PATERNITY of our CHILDREN for ANY REASON, I will IMMEDIATELY agree to a DNA TEST, but it comes with a significant condition. He must sign an agreement to pay me 100 MILLION for the MISTRUST and emotional distress it brings, as I am certain the CHILDREN are HIS. Ladies, don’t be afraid of DNA TESTS if you know there’s nothing compromised in your past.”
