Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tubaba, sparked discussion when he uploaded a video featuring a white man reflecting on how his former wife found a partner who is more suited to her following their separation.
He posted the video on his Instastories just hours after revealing his new relationship with Natasha Igbinedion, who is the granddaughter of wealthy businessman Sir Gabriel Igbinedion, and his aspirations to marry her. Currently, 2face is going through a separation from his wife Annie as they work towards finalizing their divorce.
In the video shared, the man narrated;
‘’My ex-wife has been happily married for over ten years to a great man who complements her in ways I couldn’t. If you met both him and me, you’d see that we’re very different. I’m quick and impatient while he is calm and thoughtful. They’re perfectly matched. I say this with love and respect for her and their relationship.
It’s important to accept that just because my love wasn’t right for her, it doesn’t diminish its value; it just means she needed something different.’’
