Troops Eliminate Eight Terrorists In Borno (via Primetweets)
The Nigerian Army confirmed the successful elimination of eight terrorists in a recent clash at Bula Marwa near Siraja village in Borno State following a fierce encounter with security forces.


Troops from the 151 Battalion engaged in anti-terrorism and counter-insurgency activities as part of Operation HADIN KAI in Northeast Nigeria were responsible for the successful operation.

The Army, on Monday, July 29, 2024, stated that the terrorists were killed in Bula Marwa, just ahead of Siraja village in Borno State during a fierce gun battle.

 

According to the official statement, the joint operation with the Hybrid/Civilian Joint Task Force saw the terrorists’ base raided in the early hours of Sunday, July 28, 2024, resulting in the elimination of the militants.

 

“Among the items recovered from the terrorists were an Automatic Grenade Launcher, an MK rifle, and terrorist uniforms. The troops are continuing to search the area for any remaining terrorists,” the statement noted.

 

“The military will maintain its unwavering commitment to combating terrorism and insurgency in collaboration with other security agencies to protect the nation and its citizens,” the statement further emphasized.
