Wizkid Receives 7 Nominations at the Africa Arts Entertainments Award

Award-winning musician Wizkid, known offstage as Ayodeji Balogun, has been nominated in 7 different categories for the prestigious Africa Arts Entertainments Award (AAEA).

 

The AAEA is a platform that seeks to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of music artists from all corners of the African continent.

 

Wizkid earned his nominations in various categories, including AAEA Continental Artist of the Year and AAEA Best Continental Male Artist.

 

Additionally, he is up for the Continental Album/EP of the Year award for his work on “S2,” as well as recognition for his collaborative efforts and individual singles such as Best Continental Intl Feature for “Work Me Out,” Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit for “IDK,” Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Money & Love,” and another Best Continental Afro RnB Hit for “Ebelebe.”

 

The ceremony for the award is set to happen on August 17, 2024, in Kenya.
