Unfortunately, she won’t be stepping onto the field as a player; instead, the U.S. soccer star is embracing a new opportunity.
This week, it was revealed that Morgan has become a minority owner of San Diego Wave FC, after being part of the team since its inception in 2022.
“San Diego is my home, where I raise my family and have found a greater purpose beyond playing,” Morgan expressed. “I believed in Wave FC even before our first game, and I still see this club as a catalyst for the evolution of women’s sports. I’m excited to invest in its promising future, moving from a player to an investor.”
