Arsenal bounced back from conceding an early goal to triumph over Southampton, achieving a significant milestone in the Premier League, following Manchester United’s lead.
The Gunners unexpectedly found themselves behind when Cameron Archer scored for the struggling Saints in the 55th minute at Emirates Stadium.
However, Mikel Arteta’s team quickly turned things around, with Kai Havertz netting the equalizer just three minutes later, followed by Gabriel Martinelli giving Arsenal the lead.
Late in the match, Bukayo Saka sealed the victory with a third goal, helping the Gunners close the gap to just one point behind league leaders Liverpool, who had previously defeated Crystal Palace 1-0.

This victory marked a major achievement for the London club, as they became only the second team in Premier League history to reach a remarkable number of home wins.
Arsenal Matches Manchester United with 400 Home EPL Wins
With this win over Southampton, Arsenal recorded their 400th home victory in the Premier League, a feat only matched previously by Manchester United.
Manchester United currently holds the all-time record with 428 home wins, but given their recent challenges, Arsenal may see a chance to close that gap during the 2024/25 season.
