Arsenal Sets $107 Million Price Tag for Premier League Dream Target

Arsenal

Arsenal will not receive a discounted offer for West Ham’s standout player Mohamed Kudus if they pursue him in 2025.

The Gunners are considering signing the Ghanaian forward if Leandro Trossard moves to the Saudi Pro League in 2025.

Mikel Arteta aims to maintain a balanced team, and any potential acquisition of Kudus will likely coincide with Trossard’s departure.

Arteta initially showed interest in Kudus before he transferred to West Ham from Ajax in 2023, and Kudus has made quite an impression in his first Premier League season, scoring eight goals in league play and 14 overall.

Any formal offer for Kudus is anticipated to be made next summer, as Arteta prefers not to make significant changes during the January window, yet he will face a substantial asking price.

Kudus’ Release Clause Details

According to reports from the Daily Mail, West Ham is unlikely to entertain offers below the 24-year-old’s rumored release clause of £85m ($107m), putting Arsenal in a crucial position.

However, if Trossard departs, it could partially fund what Arsenal needs for Kudus, as Al-Ittihad is reportedly preparing a £40m ($52m) bid for the Belgian.

Kudus is contracted until 2028, with an option for an additional year, and manager Julen Lopetegui sees no urgency to sell, especially considering the recent transfer of Declan Rice to a rival London club.
