Since his international debut in 2021, he has represented the Japan national team 27 times and has emerged as a key player for Brighton in recent seasons.
This season, Mitoma has netted 10 goals and assisted three times in 35 Premier League appearances, standing out as one of Brighton’s top attackers alongside players like Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck.
According to Squawka, five of his goals this season have been match-winners, while he has created 35 opportunities and dominated aerial duels, winning 27 of them.
