Rashford Optimistic About Revival Under Amorim
Marcus Rashford from Manchester United feels positive about regaining his top form with Ruben Amorim at the helm.
The Red Devils continued their unbeaten streak with a commanding 4-0 victory against Everton at Old Trafford.
Under Amorim’s guidance, the team has secured seven points from three matches across various competitions, with the recent win marking his first home Premier League success.
Rashford has been pivotal in this successful start, having scored the opening goal for Amorim in the previous 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town, and netting two goals in their latest match against Everton.
This season, the 27-year-old faced criticism after struggling under the previous management of Erik ten Hag, but he aims to improve his performances as the year progresses.
Notably, around 75% of his league goals in the current season have been scored since Amorim took charge, and he is likely to remain a key figure in United’s revamped offensive lineup.
Rashford believes confidence is crucial, and he is committed to maintaining momentum with their new coach.
“Each of us wants to reach our peak performance, and even during challenging times, we need to do the right things,” he shared with Sky Sports.
“The rapport will develop and strengthen as we get accustomed to his style. Ruben has joined us during a hectic period, and I hope our connection keeps evolving. He arrived with a fantastic attitude, which has positively impacted the players.”
Next on the horizon for Rashford and Manchester United is a vital Premier League match against rivals Arsenal on December 4, where they currently sit in eighth place in the standings.
