Southampton is making moves to boost their squad for the upcoming Premier League season while also securing future transfers.
Over the weekend, Southampton announced the acquisition of two Sao Paulo players, Welington and Juan, set to join in January 2025. Both players have agreed to pre-contract terms and will join the team once their deals with the Brazilian club expire.
This strategic move could benefit Southampton financially as they won’t have to pay a transfer fee since the players will become free agents by the time they make the switch to England.
