Arsenal’s David Raya secured the Premier League Golden Glove award in the 2023/24 season with 16 clean sheets, highlighting the Gunners’ defensive prowess.
Raya is expected to face tough competition from players like Ederson from Manchester City and Alisson from Liverpool in the 2024/25 season. Everton’s Jordan Pickford, the runner-up in the previous season, needs a more solid defense in front of him to be in contention.

Premier League Golden Glove Award
The Golden Glove accolade is given to the goalkeeper with the most clean sheets in a single Premier League season, where a ‘clean sheet’ means not conceding a goal in a full game.
If multiple keepers achieve the same number of clean sheets in a season, they share the Golden Glove prize. In the 2021/22 season, Ederson from Manchester City and Alisson from Liverpool both kept 20 clean sheets.
The award has been bestowed annually since the 2004/05 season, with Petr Cech of Chelsea being the inaugural winner with 24 clean sheets, a record for a single season.
Last season, David Raya won the award with 16 clean sheets for Arsenal, who finished as runners-up behind champions Manchester City.
