Bobrisky, who has been involved in a number of scandals recently, was detained at the Lagos Command of the EFCC after being arrested on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Pinnock Estate in Lagos state for allegedly abusing the naira during actress and filmmaker Eniola Ajao’s Ajakaju movie premiere.
In an attempted social media call-out, Eniola Ajao was targeted by Bobrisky’s putative sister, who claimed that the crossdresser had gone above and above to make her feel special and glam up her occasion.
She said that Bobrisky was left to suffer in EFCC detention by the majority of his friends and benefactors.
The woman underlined that her brother’s decision to become the transgender and crossdresser he is now was motivated by his need to support himself and warned against passing judgement on him for it.
Bobrisky was taken into custody on April 3 and found guilty of the accusations of naira misuse brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Friday, April 5, 2024, in a Federal High Court session held in Lagos.
Bobrisky was charged with six charges by the EFCC, the first four of which were with suspected Naira misuse and the final two with claimed money laundering.
Prior to reading the charges, the EFCC prosecutor requested the court to dismiss counts five and six.
He, however, asked to be pardoned, adding that he was not aware of the laws binding the Naira abuse and vowed to educate his fans on social media about it.
