The man was devastated as he shed tears upon discovering that the money he had diligently saved in his piggy bank for the past year had deteriorated.

He had carefully stashed away various denominations of 1000 naira, 500 naira, and others, only to find them in a state of decay when he finally broke open the piggy bank.
