Her family confirmed the tragic news to Freedom Radio on Tuesday, stating that the adored actress had been discovered dead at an early hour.

After the pre-dawn dinner, Sahur, Gidado, who was fasting for Ramadan, allegedly went back to bed, only to be discovered dead a short while later.

The film industry and her admirers are in shock at her untimely death at the age of 56.

The entertainment community and fans are awaiting the announcement of her burial arrangements as they come to terms with the loss of a talent who brought laughter and entertainment to many.

Born in Kano on January 17, 1968, Daso made a name for herself in Kannywood by playing quirky, aggressive, and mischievous characters. This won her the affection of many moviegoers.

Her career, spanning over two decades, was launched with her role in the 2000 movie “Linzami Da Wuta,” produced by Sarauniya Movies
