The US charter service provider that piloted the unfortunate helicopter in the Southern California catastrophe that also claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe and other people is facing legal action from the family of the late Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the former chairman of the Nigerian Exchange Group.

According to the lawsuit, the aeroplane should have been grounded because of the hazardous weather. The occurrence sparked legal disputes and public criticism.

Allegations of negligence and recklessness have surfaced, leading to the lawsuit filed on April 10.
