Giwa Unveils 2027 Alliance to Topple Tinubu

Pastor Giwa Reveals Political Combination That Can Defeat Tinubu In (via Primetweets)

Pastor Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, has shared insights on a political alliance that he believes could challenge President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 elections.

During a conversation on Monday, he suggested that a joint candidacy of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and ex-Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi would successfully overcome Tinubu.

In an interview with DAILY POST, Giwa commented that the current opposition struggles to rival Tinubu due to what he perceives as a divine plan that positioned him as Nigeria’s president in 2023.

This statement follows Obi’s remarks, asserting that his aim in joining the opposition coalition is to combat poor governance, hunger, and poverty rather than pursuing personal political gain.

Obi’s comments were in response to speculation regarding an alleged agreement with Atiku to be his running mate in 2027.

Nevertheless, Giwa criticized Tinubu’s leadership as detrimental to the populace, indicating that many Nigerians are dissatisfied with his administration.

He expressed concern over Tinubu’s elimination of the fuel subsidy right after taking office, stating that it primarily benefits the wealthy over impoverished Nigerians.

According to Giwa, if Obi does not accept the role of running mate to Atiku, Tinubu is likely to win the 2027 election.

He stated: “The Atiku-Obi ticket is poised to defeat Tinubu, particularly because the current administration has failed to gain the support of most Nigerians.

“My main issue with Tinubu’s government is the removal of subsidies, which caters only to the affluent, neglecting the needs of the less fortunate.

“Governments that ignore the struggles of the poor are detrimental to their citizens. Thus far, this administration has compromised the welfare of Nigerians.

“Tinubu was destined to lead Nigeria in the last 2023 election, which explains the disunity among the opposition. However, if Peter Obi agrees to run as Atiku’s deputy, Tinubu’s chances in the 2027 election will diminish significantly.

“Regardless, it’s clear that Tinubu’s influence will extend beyond 2027.”

The pastor, based in Akure, also emphasized the importance of physical Bibles, stating that mobile phones cannot replace them. He believes that the Holy Spirit does not interpret texts read from phones in the same way as from a physical Bible.

“Using a phone as a substitute for a physical Bible is not the same. Many believers today attend services with their phones rather than their Bibles.

“While technology has become integral to our lives, it should serve God’s purpose as guided by scripture.

“Social media has led many believers away from traditional Bible readings, as the physical Bible embodies a more spiritual experience than mobile devices. Engaging with a hardcopy Bible allows the Holy Spirit to provide insight into the texts, unlike when reading from a phone,” he elaborated.
