Season 7 left us wondering when the war would actually begin even with delayed efforts of the White Walkers down to knee-bending discussions between Jon Snow and Daenerys that later got one of her Dragons killed and converted by the Night King. Actually, the chemistry between Daenrys and Jon Snow is infinity in a million times.
Nonetheless, we needed Season 7 to be full of fight in preparation of the big war that is coming. But we expect to see all these in Season 8 as it unveils soon.
