One person has been killed while six others were abducted by bandits who attacked Tursa village, Rabba Local Government Area in the early hours of Tuesday.
This was confirmed by the Sokoto State Police Command.

Rufai said other properties, including motorcycles, were burnt while some livestock were also rustled.
He added that the state commissioner of police has ordered a manhunt for the suspected criminals and promised to give more updates on the development as it unfolds.
