Gov Hope Uzodimma
Governor Hope Uzodimma from Imo State commended the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its performance in the country.
He mentioned that the current economic difficulties in Nigeria are part of a global trend.
Uzodimma expressed optimism that under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, the economic challenges will be addressed effectively soon.
During a visit with other APC governors to meet with the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Abdullahi Ganduje in Abuja, Uzodimma made a statement in support of the party’s efforts.
He assured, “The truth is that the APC has performed remarkably in Nigeria. The current economic situation is a global issue. We are confident that with the policies being implemented, spearheaded by President Bola Tinubu, we will soon witness significant improvements,” affirmed Uzodimma in Abuja.
Touching on other topics, Uzodimma expressed confidence that APC will emerge victorious in the upcoming gubernatorial election in Edo state and maintain its standing in Ondo state.
Addressing the NWC under Ganduje’s leadership, he mentioned, “We are here in Abuja to meet with the party leadership as governors under the APC platform. We are here to demonstrate solidarity with the party leadership and offer our support,” Uzodimma stated.
He further added, “As the chair of the Progressive Governors Forum, I represent my 20 colleagues. With APC in control of 20 states and holding substantial political positions, we are poised for success based on our vast political assets.”
Uzodimma was accompanied by Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, and Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State.
