After two years of marriage, recent reports suggest that Jennifer Lopez is feeling a sense of “relief” after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck, despite her initial reluctance to end the relationship. Sources close to the singer revealed that since filing the divorce papers in Los Angeles, Lopez has been experiencing a palpable sense of relief.
Following her split from Affleck on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding, Lopez kept a low profile. She filed for divorce independently without legal representation, citing April 26 as the official date of their separation.
An insider shared with People, “It’s been incredibly difficult for her that Ben decided to distance himself from their marriage and move forward with his life, leaving her behind. She didn’t seek a divorce initially, wanting to work things out. They still care for each other. Jennifer is not one to give up easily. The waiting has been almost unbearable for her.

Sightings in Los Angeles
Affleck, on the other hand, has been spotted around Los Angeles in seemingly good spirits. Recent photos show him smiling while receiving a delivery from Jack in the Box at his Brentwood rental home.
According to sources cited by Page Six, Affleck has been seen spending time with Kick Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. They were observed together at various popular spots in Los Angeles, including the Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge.
Affleck was also pictured enjoying a meal with his longtime friend Matt Damon and Damon’s wife, Luciana, at Toscana, an Italian restaurant, over the weekend. Images obtained by TMZ depict Affleck appearing content during the gathering.
