The statement issued by the vice president’s spokesperson, Stanley Nkwocha, condemned the reports as an unfounded smear campaign designed to create a false narrative of discord between the two leaders.

Vice President Shettima’s 58th birthday was also celebrated on Monday, further solidifying the unity between the nation’s top two leaders.
