Nigerian Man And His Pregnant Wife Perish In Auto Crash On Their Way To Hospital For Delivery

Mr and Mrs Mohammed Alhassan Shettima Sheshi met a tragic end in a car accident on the Agaie-Katcha road in Niger State. Mr Sheshi was urgently driving his wife, Fatima, who was in labor, to the Agaie General Hospital when the incident occurred.

Reports indicate that besides the couple, three other passengers in the vehicle, including the driver and the wife’s younger brother, sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A family friend confirmed the heartbreaking news, revealing that due to a shortage of medical staff at the Katcha General Hospital, residents often had to journey to Agaie for medical emergencies.

Unfortunately, the vehicle carrying the couple collided with a stationary car just before reaching Agaie, resulting in the couple’s immediate demise.
