The Lagos state police command has received praise from the public after officers helped a woman whose car ran out of gas early in the morning on January 6.
According to a post from the police, the incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. as the woman was driving near Cement Bus Stop on the Lagos-Abk highway. Officers who spotted her provided her with 5 litres of fuel, allowing her to reach the nearest gas station.
“Approximately 4:00 a.m. today, our team encountered a lady whose vehicle had run out of fuel at Cement Bus Stop, Lagos-Abk highway.”
The officers assisted her with enough fuel to get to the nearest filling station.
They wished her a pleasant day and a wonderful week before continuing on their patrol.
