Prominent businessman Aliko Dangote and philanthropist Bill Gates are currently participating in the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting. The meeting is being overseen by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Council Chamber in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Among the attendees are governors Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Duoye Diri of Bayelsa, Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi, and Lawan Dauda of Zamfara State, alongside several others. Also present are deputy governors representing their respective governors, as well as Ministers and state commissioners.
The agenda for the meeting includes a comprehensive assessment of the nation’s economic policies and the recent hike in fuel prices.
