After leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the 2023/24 season, where they controversially lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso, Tuchel currently finds himself without a club.
Despite a challenging exit from Bayern, Tuchel’s reputation remains strong, positioning him as a top candidate to replace Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
Ten Hag has been given another chance to show his worth, with the club’s management delaying any decisive announcements on his job status during the October international break.
The next five matches before the November transfer window will be critical for Ten Hag to silence critics and secure his position.

While United has expressed support for Ten Hag, they are also preparing backup plans, viewing Tuchel as a fitting candidate to restore a winning mentality at the club.
At 57, Tuchel has guided teams like Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain to league titles and also led Chelsea to a UEFA Champions League victory.
Although he is tempted by the idea of managing in the Premier League again, sources from Teamtalk.com suggest Tuchel is also considering an offer from the England national team.
Interim coach Lee Carsley has indicated he won’t continue in the role beyond early 2025, suggesting that the position requires someone with more extensive experience and accolades, a profile that Tuchel fits.
Although Tuchel is inclined towards the structure of club management, it seems he may entertain an England offer before making a decision regarding Manchester United.
