The busy schedules of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did not stop them from seizing the Kansas City Chiefs’ bye week to enjoy some quality time together in New York City.
Although they missed some of Kelce’s games and his birthday, Swift and Kelce made the most of their long weekend in the city.
According to TMZ, their weekend kicked off with a double date on Friday night with friends Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
The foursome enjoyed dinner at the Corner Store in Soho, famous for its lobster and caviar rolls. Swift wore a stylish Gucci corset top and carried a Dior saddle bag, while Kelce, who has been letting his bangs grow out, accompanied her. Lively made a fashion statement in a sleek maroon outfit.
Enjoying post-season baseball together
On Saturday, the couple opted for a quieter dinner at Torrisi, a popular Italian restaurant in Soho. However, their weekend wouldn’t be complete without a public outing.
On Monday, Swift and Kelce were seen at Yankee Stadium for their first Major League Baseball experience, watching the Cleveland Guardians against the Yankees in the playoffs. They coordinated their outfits in all black, with Swift sporting a baseball cap.
The couple savored popcorn, beer, and enjoyed each other’s company in a suite with friends, including comedian Jerrod Carmichael.
The MLB embraced the couple’s appearance by playing Swift’s song “Welcome to New York” in the stadium and sharing clips on TikTok.
One whimsical caption read, “You two make me believe in love. I can’t stop crying. Never change. ILYSM #Tayvis.”
With Swift preparing for the Miami shows of her Eras Tour this week and Kelce set to face the 49ers in San Francisco on Sunday, the couple relished a lovely weekend together before returning to their busy lives.
