Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Lady, has visited Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, the widow of the late Lt-General Taoreed Lagbaja, to offer her condolences.
This visit was reported on Wednesday through a post on the NTA’s account on X.
In her message, Mrs. Tinubu prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the family as they mourn their significant loss.
She honored Lagbaja’s legacy of bravery, love for his country, and dedicated service to Nigeria.
Sharing her heartfelt message on X, she stated: “My heart is heavy as I learn of the passing of Chief of Army Staff Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.”
“He was a true embodiment of courage, patriotism, and steadfast commitment to serving our nation.”
She extended her heartfelt sympathies to his widow, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, along with their children, family, friends, and colleagues.
