Governor Abiodun Set to Unveil 2025 Budget Proposal to Ogun Assembly This Wednesday

The budget presentation will mark a significant occasion as it coincides with the unveiling of the renovated Assembly Complex during the Governor’s second term.

On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Governor Dapo Abiodun will submit the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly.

This presentation was initially supposed to occur last Friday but was rescheduled.

A statement issued by Sakiru Adebakin, the Clerk and Head of Legislative Service, revealed these details.

This upcoming budget presentation, being the Governor’s second during his current term, doubles as a celebration, as he will officially open the newly renovated Assembly Complex.

The overhaul modernized the 45-year-old structure, aligning it with contemporary legislative buildings globally.

According to the announcement, the event will take place in the upgraded Hallowed Chamber of the Assembly Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, starting at 10:00 am. Attendees, including stakeholders and officials, are asked to arrive by 9:30 am.
