Pastor Tobi Adegboyega
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the leader of SPAC Nation, shared insights about his journey in ministry and the unconventional methods he has adopted.
During an interview on Channels TV Politics Today on December 16, he addressed the serious allegations he faces, including claims of fraud that could lead to his deportation from the UK.
Reflecting on his pastoral calling, Adegboyega mentioned growing up as the son of a pastor and beginning his preaching career at just eight years old.
Upon arriving in the UK in 2005, he was troubled by the rise of youth gang violence in Peckham, particularly involving young Nigerians. This motivated him to intervene and help steer these youths towards a more positive path.
He emphasized that a true calling involves responding to the needs of a generation, a principle he has followed since he first settled in the UK.
In response to questions about his church’s unconventional approach, he acknowledged its uniqueness but argued that effectiveness is what truly counts, highlighting the positive impact he’s had on many young lives.
He also reminded the audience that the Pentecostal movement was once viewed as unconventional in its early days.
