Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is honoring its National Chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in celebration of his 75th birthday today, December 25, 2024.
Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, has been recognized for his impressive leadership and political acumen.
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, remarked on Ganduje’s key role in the party’s electoral triumphs nationwide.
“We honor a leader of great distinction, a scholar, philanthropist, and a savvy politician whose contributions in various public roles set him apart,” Morka stated.
He continued, “Dr. Ganduje’s visionary and transformative leadership has propelled our Party to remarkable electoral achievements, solidifying our status as the largest political party in Africa.”
According to Morka, Ganduje’s collaborative and inclusive methods have cultivated unity within the party, enabling it to effectively support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC also noted that under Ganduje’s leadership, they have modernized membership registration and created a Progressive Institute, successfully fulfilling various promises made to Nigerians.
“During his tenure, our Party has accomplished significant milestones, including the digitization of our membership records and fostering a stronger connection between the Party and government,”
Morka added, expressing gratitude on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC) and all party members. “We join together to celebrate this exceptional individual on his 75th birthday. We pray for his long life, wisdom, and health as he continues to serve our Party and nation.”
