It’s A Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes!
I want to start my story by thanking Rhonda Byrne and The Secret team. It’s because of them that I have my soul mate.
I had always been insecure about my relationships and hence they always ended up in a mess and left me heartbroken. But I believed that I would find my soul mate. In India arranged marriage is a tradition. So after my parents asked me if I had a boyfriend and my answer was no, they took the matters in their hands and started looking for guys. This is when I started talking to a guy they had suggested. He was living in another country and he promised me that he would come to meet me soon because he was really busy with work. Thing’s were working great between us and we hit it off really well until I let myself down and some negative thoughts.
Things started changing. He started being distant and he told me he’s talking to another girl. I was devastated and once again was left heartbroken. My heart still told me he was the one.
That was when I was introduced to The Secret by my close friend. This changed my life. I watched the movie. I cried after watching it because I realised how I had let it happen. I immediately stopped thinking negative and filled myself with positivity. I practiced gratitude for things as small as his messages. I felt happy for all the happy things he had ever said and I felt joy.
In no time things changed and were back to normal. He came to meet me. There were fireworks and we instantly hit it off and decided to get married. We are now engaged and will be married in February.
