BUZZ: Bruce Willis’ ex Demi Moore and wife, Emma Heming, honor him for Father’s Day

Bruce Willis’ loved ones are celebrating him on social media this Father’s Day.

The “Die Hard” star’s ex-wife, Demi Moore, and his current wife, Emma Heming, paid tributes to the actor, who was recently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, on Instagram Sunday.

“Forever grateful to you BW for giving me these three beautiful girls,” Moore, 60, wrote next to a cute black-and-white photo of Willis making a silly face with their daughters.

“We love our #girldad. Happy Father’s Day!”

The “Ghost” actress was married to the “Sixth Sense” star from 1987 to 2000. They share Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29.

The friendly exes also recently became grandparents when their eldest and her partner, Derek Richard Thomas, welcomed a daughter, Louetta, in April.

Aside from Moore, Willis’ spouse also penned a sweet message online.

“Father’s Day is a time I get to reflect on my deep appreciation and respect I have for Bruce as I watch him father our little ones,” Heming, 45, wrote alongside a photo of her husband and their oldest daughter together, Mabel, 11.

“Where it might not be ‘conventional,’ what he’s teaching them will span generations. Unconditional love, kindness, strength, compassion, patience, generosity, resilience.”

She concluded, “Happy Father’s Day to the greatest dad I know, who will forever be the gift that keeps giving within our family 💞.”

Willis and Heming have been married since 2009. They also share a younger daughter, Evelyn, 9.

The blended family — although they all get along — is going through a difficult time.

In March 2022, Willis’ relatives announced in a joint statement that the beloved entertainer would be retiring from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia.

“To Bruce’s amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities,” they wrote at the time.

“This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support.”

The family concluded, “We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him. As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that.”

Almost a year later, the family shared an update to reveal that the “Armageddon” star had actually been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

“While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” they said on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration’s website in February.

Since then, Heming has been open about the difficulties surrounding Willis’ gradual mental decline.

On their most recent wedding anniversary, the former model shared, “When usually our person would acknowledge the event, now their changing brains just can’t. And that is what it is.”
