CANNES — Cannes Lions Festival attendees nearly had to walk the plank when harbor authorities showed up to the iHeartMedia yacht Monday night to shut down the soiree, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
We hear that the audio company’s bash in the South of France became so packed that one attendee nearly fell overboard into the harbor.
Monday’s hiccup also put a damper on iHeartMedia’s exclusive afterparty, which featured Paris Hilton on the turntables, the following night.
“People said don’t bother showing up [to the afterparty] because cops came last night,” one insider tells us. “They were too full and someone almost fell overboard.”
A rep for iHeartMedia confirmed police showed up to the yacht earlier this week because “a lot more people showed up than anticipated” and exceeded the capacity limitations.
However, the flack denied any passengers nearly fell overboard and said it was merely a rumor.
Following MediaLink and iHeartMedia’s intimate executive dinner at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, during which Lizzo put on an epic performance for about an hour, guests made their way to the yacht afterparty — only to find a mostly empty vessel.

VIP attendees gained entry immediately, while the general admissions group had to wait in a backed-up line to board the boat.
We hear it became a one-in, one-out situation, despite the yacht being mostly vacant.
“We did have guests waiting for access so as people came off the boat we would bring others on to maintain capacity,” the rep shared, alluding to the prior night’s incident.
“Actually, I believe we were the only boat still playing music.”
However, Page Six can confirm that the yacht parked next to the iHeart cruiser was blasting music — and was packed to the gills.
