Age is nothing but a number for Diane von Furstenberg. The 76-year-old fashion designer shared her youthful outlook in a recent episode of Julia Louis Dreyfus’ podcast, “Wiser Than Me.” She explained that although she’s 76, she “really should be 300” due to the amount of life she has lived. Von Furstenberg loves being her age because, “I love being alive. That’s how long I have been alive, so yes.”
The philanthropist and author also shared her thoughts on what women should keep in their closets, saying that everyone should invest in a black turtleneck. Of course, she also talked about her iconic wrap dress, saying that it gave her freedom and independence. Von Furstenberg’s wrap dress has also made other women feel more confident in their bodies, according to Louis Dreyfuss.
Age is just a number for Diane von Furstenberg. She has a youthful outlook and encourages other women to do the same.
