wrote in an Instagram statement Saturday. “Working hand-in-hand with our partners, viewers will see the impact of Erica Mena’s remarks play out in the final three episodes of the season.
“Effective immediately, she will not appear in the next season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,’” the announcement concluded.
Page Six has reached out to Mena’s reps and the network for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Ahead of the statement, fans called for Mena to be fired from the series after she used the racial slur on Tuesday’s episode.
During the confrontation in question, Spice, 41, claimed that Mena’s 16-year-old son, King “hates” his own mother.
In response, the video vixen, 35, yelled, “You monkey, you f–king blue monkey!” and flipped a table.
“Erica Mena needs to be fired #LHHATL,” one viewer wrote. “How tf you’re on a 99% Black cast and you call someone a monkey in an argument.”

Another added, “@ericamena calling people monkeys then what are her children from a black man? Is she calling her children monkeys?
“The comment is so offensive she should be fired from #lhhatl ASAP.”
A third social media user wrote, “Wow. I’m appalled. Erica Mena just called Spice a monkey. She should absolutely be fired. That’s pure racism.”
While Mena has not spoken publicly about the incident, Spice told Forbes that she is at peace following their public spat.
“I’m on my … journey to becoming this new woman,” she said Wednesday. “I feel like that comes with what I signed up for. So I’m good. I’m in a better space right now.”
Mena became a cast member of the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” franchise in 2018 after starring in several seasons of “Love & Hip Hop: New York.”
Aside from her eldest son — whom she shares with ex Raul Conde — she also has two children with her ex-husband, Safaree.
The “Stepmother” actress and the “Paradise” singer, 42, tied the knot in 2019 but called it quits in 2021 after welcoming daughter Safire, 3, and son Legend, 2.
