BUZZ: Gwyneth Paltrow gives fridge tour of liquids, skincare products after defending ‘starvation diet’

sharing her “starvation diet” publicly, the actress decided to give her followers a tour of her refrigerator.

Though fully stocked, Paltrow’s stainless steel icebox — which she shares with her husband, Brad Falchuk, and her two children, 19-year-old daughter Apple Martin and 17-year-old Moses Martin — contained mostly liquids and a variety of skincare products.

“I’ve gotten a lot of questions about what’s in my fridge,” the Goop founder, 50, began an Instagram video Friday.

“I guess this is a trend that’s going around, so would you like to see what’s in my fridge?” asked the lifestyle businesswoman, who was wearing a sleeveless knit cream top and white shorts for the virtual presentation.

“I’ve gotten a lot of questions about what’s in my fridge,” Paltrow began an Instagram video Friday.

Though Paltrow admittedly “cleaned it up” before filming, she vowed that “this is really the kind of stuff” she keeps handy.

Two and a half of the four shelves, as well as the majority of the door, were stocked with teas, juices, tinctures, coconut water, multiple kinds of sparkling water and milk — lots of milk.

“There’s heavy cream, there’s half-and-half, there’s regular milk, there’s almond milk,” she explained, “We span the spectrum of milks here in the old Paltrow-Martin house.”

On the shelf next to the milks were a few bowls filled with what looked like berries, as well as several packages of coconut-flavored yogurt.

Solid food did begin to appear on the lower shelf, which contained a carton of eggs, a few jars of green olives, some salsa and a handful of plastic storage containers filled with “some leftovers,” including “butter chicken,” “veggie burgers” and “zucchini fritters.”

Though the door of the state-of-the-art appliance contained a plethora of sauces and condiments, Paltrow chose to focus on the beauty items she keeps up top, including her eye masks, her facial moisturizer and her “incredible peptide serum,” which she applies both morning and night.

And “hidden between” the assortment of beer and Alvaline wine (Cameron Diaz’s organic brand) is her gua sha, a traditional Chinese medicine tool that is used to scrape the skin in order to produce light petechiae, which refers to tiny spots of bleeding.

“So that wraps up my fridge tour! Do you feel like you’ve gotten to know me any better?” Paltrow ended the clip.

“This looks like the drinks fridge at the Brentwood country mart,” one social media user commented beneath the post, as another added, “I too am a beverage based lady. Love it!”

“Looks expensive 🤣👍💕,” someone else noted, while a fourth remarked, “Only Gwyneth will show you what’s in her fridge then stock up on her facial products to advertise.”

Paltrow made headlines in March for broadcasting her daily wellness routine, which horrified fans, fellow celebrities and medical professionals alike.

With an IV in her arm, the Oscar winner explained on the “Art of Being Well” podcast at the time that she fancies “a nice intermittent fast.”

Critics were quick to condemn the mega-famous star — not only for her restrictive patterns but also for sharing them with the world.

Following the backlash, Paltrow doubled down on her lifestyle and offered an explanation, saying she suffers from “long COVID” and “very high levels of inflammation.”

According to the self-proclaimed health guru, her diet includes “lots of cooked vegetables,” “all kinds of protein” and “healthy carbs” to combat the inflammation.

Though she claims her eating plan is “working really well” for her, she insists her “transparent” interview about it was “not meant to be advice for anyone else.”
