Jennifer Garner used her daughter Violet as a human shield to jokingly take cover from the paparazzi snapping pics of her.
Photos taken Monday in Los Angeles show Garner — who shares her look-alike 17-year-old with ex-Ben Affleck — dressed casually in a black long-sleeve shirt with black short leggings.
Garner’s laid-back fit was tied off with a messy top bun, sunglasses and sneakers.
At one point, Garner, 51, grabbed the outside of her daughter’s arms to position the teen’s body in front of her own.
Violet didn’t seem to mind providing cover for her A-list mother, as she was cracking a smile while her Garner hid.
Violet went for a more summer fashion look, as the teenager wore a white and red polka-dotted maxi dress with frills around the scooped neckline. She finished off the look with a casual pair of sneakers and clear-framed glasses.
The actress also shares daughter Seraphina, 14, and son Samuel, 11, with Affleck.

Garner has been seeing CaliBurger CEO John Miller on and off since 2018 and recently looked to be in love as they hugged goodbye in LA earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Affleck has since remarried, tying the knot with Jennifer Lopez in July 2022 after the two revived their relationship nearly two decades after they first dated.
While Garner and Affleck, 50, have gone their separate ways, their families have blended effortlessly since the “Good Will Hunting” actor’s marriage.
Garner was spotted out with Seraphina and Lopez’s child Emme — who Lopez shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony — during a Memorial Day Disneyland trip.
In an interview released June 11, Garner called co-parenting with Ben “a gift” despite the unique challenges that come with raising children in the spotlight.
Lopez has also praised Garner and Affleck’s co-parenting skills, saying in a May 4 interview on “The View” that he has taught the “Jenny on the Block” singer new things about how to interact with their children.
“He’s such a brilliant guy anyway, and you can tell that when he had his kids he must have read every book and everything that you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it.”
