confirmed their decision to divorce last week following an onslaught of rumors about the state of their marriage.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” they wrote in a post on Instagram.
“There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
Despite the joint statement calling their divorce a “united decision,” reports claimed 27-year-old Turner’s partying had factored into 34-year-old Jonas’ decision to file for dissolution. There were also claims that the “Camp Rock” star had seen compromising Ring camera footage of his wife that served as his breaking point.
It has not been revealed what was featured on the security footage.

Subsequent reports then claimed the “Celebrate!” crooner was “less than supportive” of his now-estranged wife when she was struggling following the birth of their second child in July 2022.
In light of the conflicting rumors, Jonas addressed the messy split during one of his band’s shows in Los Angeles over the weekend.
“It’s been a crazy week,” he admitted. “I just wanna say, look — if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it, OK?”
The boy band member, who was on stage with his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas, added, “Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.”
Joe then launched into the group’s song ”Hesitate,” which he famously dedicated to Turner, and became emotional as he began to sing.
