If she does and loses, the outlet claims she’ll have to cover Costner’s legal fees incurred in defending the contract.

Last week, the “Yellowstone” star scored a major win, as the Los Angeles judge overseeing the case granted his proposed amount of child support, thereby slashing Baumgartner’s payments by more than half.

Costner is now giving Baumgartner $63,209 per month for their three kids — Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13 — instead of $129,755, which he was paying before.

“This is a horrible place to be, but this is where we’re at,” the actor, 68, told reporters outside the courtroom following the ruling.

“It feels so bad. We’re talking about somebody I love on the other side. I just can’t.”

Asked whether he still has love for his estranged wife, Costner replied, “Of course.”

As for Baumgartner, 49, she vowed to find a way to support herself in the future, telling the judge, “I will look into the steps I need to take and any schooling I need to do, and I will enter the workforce.”

The former model has since moved into a $40,000-a-month rental home in Montecito, Calif., after being ordered to vacate the family compound.

Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Oscar winner in May after almost 19 years of marriage.
