Kim Kardashian was recently called out for heavily editing her newest selfie after several fans noticed that her middle finger was “missing” from the image. The reality star, 42, captioned a mirror pic of herself in a nude Skims bikini, writing “I just try on @skims swim and pray it doesn’t rain forever in LA.”
While many fans pointed out how hot the mother of four looked, others noticed how badly the picture was Photoshopped. “Wait where’s the middle finger?” asked one fan, while another added, “Lol why was this picture edited much?!…. right side finger was erased and the inner thighs on the left pixelated due to trims.. .” A third critic commented, “Why are your inner thighs pixelated?”
Some fans defended the Skims founder, saying that her fingers were behind a pop socket. Another person wrote, “The amount of editing is absurd. Just post a regular pic. Nobody cares…. You’re in your 40s.”
The Skims founder and her infamous family members have previously been accused of Photoshopping their images several times. Most recently, fans slammed Kim for editing a Christmas photo of her herself with her mom, Kris Jenner, and her sisters, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, at their holiday party on Dec. 24. A few days later, the Skkn founder seemingly refuted fans’ claims, sharing a video that proved she and all of her relatives were in fact together for the snap. Last summer, Kim was accused of editing out her trapezius muscle while enjoying a dip in the pool. An eagle-eyed TikTok user revealed the apparent editing job, which she claims was done to make Kim’s “neck look smaller.”
Perhaps the most notorious Photoshop fail from Kim was when she edited the face of Khloé’s daughter, True, onto the body of Kylie’s daughter, Stormi, in a photo from a trip to Disneyland. Kim later admitted to the social media error after the Good American founder, 38, accidentally exposed her, explaining that she “wasn’t going to mess up” the aesthetic of her Instagram feed.
