BUZZ: Marcus Jordan defends girlfriend Larsa Pippen against ‘gold digger’ accusations

He ain’t sayin’ she a gold digger.

Larsa Pippen and her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan, appear on an upcoming episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, during which the couple dispels myths about their headline-making relationship — including speculation that the reality TV star is gunning for Jordan’s family fortune.

“I feel like the money thing is annoying,” says the “Real Housewives of Miami” star, while promoting her and Jordan’s new iHeartRadio podcast, “Separation Anxiety.”

“Yeah, I feel like people try to say Larsa’s a gold digger and she’s after the Jordan money or something,” adds Pippen’s beau, the younger son of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

The Larsa Marie jewelry designer notes that she has her “own money,” an assertion that Marcus co-signs.

“She’s such an independent, career-driven woman,” the Trophy Room Store founder elaborates. “She’s got it going on … It’s the one comment or commentary that I’ve got to refrain from commenting back on.”

Pippen, 48, and Marcus, 32, tell us they launched “Separation Anxiety” to regain control of the narrative surrounding their romance, notably marked by a 16-year age gap.

“Us doing this podcast, it really was therapeutic for us. Like, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this,’ or, ‘People want to know about our age gap. Should we talk about that?’ Because we really don’t view age like that,” the Bravolebrity explains.

“I’ve dated guys that are way older than me and I’ve dated guys that are younger than Marcus. So for me, it wasn’t like I was so concerned about a 16-year age difference,” she continues.

“I was kind of concerned about what’s going on in your brain. If you’re mature or not, if you feel good about yourself — that, to me, is more important than someone’s age.”

Pippen and Marcus went Instagram-official in January, confirming longstanding rumors that their friendship had developed into something more with a pivotal post on her page.

“We’re kind of living our best life,” says Pippen, who is “super happy” to give fans a closer glimpse inside her love life with Marcus via “Separation Anxiety.”

Marcus jokes that the name of the podcast stemmed from his and Pippen’s shared desire to “always be together.”

“I think that’s what makes it so easy for us is we constantly wanted to be together, like, all the time. Even when we’re apart, we FaceTime and we’re in constant communication with each other,” he divulges.

“And so it just was fitting for us to kind of name the podcast ’Separation Anxiety.’”

Although the pair feels closer than ever, her famous ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, and his iconic father, Michael, 60, remain at odds after a very public falling out occurred in 2020, due in large part to ESPN’s docuseries “The Last Dance.”

“I think people want to make it worse than it actually is,” Larsa says of the current discord between Scottie and Michael, whose complicated history began as Chicago Bulls teammates in the 1990s.

“Like, feelings have been hurt. But I don’t feel like that has anything to do with us.”

Marcus, for his part, says he and Larsa plan to let the athletes “handle their business” as they focus on their own future, which includes filming “RHOM” Season 6 together.

“We’re trying to stand on our own two feet,” he tells us, “and really establish ourselves both independently but also as a couple.”
