Mark Wahlberg and his family have made a big change in their lives, swapping Hollywood for Sin City. In October 2022, the actor revealed that he moved his family out of their $90 million California mansion in search of a “better life”. Six months later, Wahlberg admitted that the move to Las Vegas has been a positive change for his children.
The move has also come with its long list of perks, including a short commute to the hottest shows in the city. Wahlberg has seen Adele and Bruno Mars’ respective Vegas residencies and has been to many great restaurants.
The family have set up camp in Summerlin, Nev., just outside Las Vegas, where Wahlberg purchased a home for $15.6M in July. The move was to give his kids a “better life” and to allow them to pursue their own interests.
Speaking on “The Talk” in October 2022, Wahlberg opened up about the “biggest challenge” he faces while having to balance his career and being a family man. He said he wanted to be able to work from home and that the move made sense for his children’s future.
Overall, Wahlberg is excited about the future and is looking forward to what lies ahead for his family in Las Vegas.
