Ryan Lochte and Kayla Rae Reid now have a family of five!
The Olympic swimmer’s wife gave birth to baby No. 3, a daughter, on June 21.
The pair, who tied the knot in 2018, named their baby girl Georgia June Lochte.
“Her middle name has a play on the timing of her birth and a family member,” Kayla, 31, told Us Weekly.
“[We’re] thrilled. We are so excited,” the model said. “Ryan is such a great dad; I can’t wait to see him as a father to 3. He’s so great with kids in general, they always gravitate towards him.”
“I am excited as well, [but] I am more of the worrier, the strict one, the not-as-fun parent, let’s just say. It makes for a good balance.”
The couple are also the parents of son Caiden, 7, and daughter Liv, 4.
The little ones both arrived in the month of June, one in 2017 and the other in 2019.
While announcing her pregnancy with baby No. 3, Reid joked that she is clearly “only fertile once a year” because her latest was also due in June.
“We weren’t trying, but not not trying,” the model, 31, said in a “Good Morning America” interview. “We were just waiting for the timing to be right.”
She added, “I feel like the third kid, you have the Ph.D., you have survived parenting school.”
The couple are even more “relaxed” this time around because Lochte, 38, isn’t actively training for Olympic trials and can be a more “present” parent.
“Ryan is such an amazing, hands-on dad, but you can’t be as hands-on as you’d like [when] you’re training so hard, and it’s such a demanding schedule that you physically cannot do both,” Reid explained.
She and the “Traitors” star, who have been married since January 2018, took to Instagram to reveal their expanding family.
“Lochte baby #3 on the way, in June again of course!😜,” the duo captioned a joint upload.

The following month, Reid asked her followers to guess the sex of Caiden and Liv’s sibling — before sharing the news with a family video.
In the funny footage, Caiden read a letter announcing Reid was pregnant with a baby “G-I-R-L” before running into another room, visibly emotional.
“Poor kiddo,” one Instagram user wrote, while another joked, “He’s gonna need a brother after all this.”
