brother Liam Hemsworth and friend Owen Wright on Friday.
The “Thor” actor was photographed looking buff as ever while meeting up with the pair for a morning surf in Australia.
Hemsworth, who wore an all black outfit and baseball hat, was all smiles while chatting with the two in a parking lot in Byron Bay.
Wright, a professional surfer, seemingly gifted Chris a copy of his autobiography, prompting a laugh from the birthday boy.
The group then headed down to the beach, where they stripped into wetsuits before going down near the water.
Chris only pulled his wetsuit up halfway, showing off impressive physique.
The Aussie superstar looked buff in the skintight swimwear, showing his chiseled abs and strong arms.
The “Extraction” star, who sported some scruff on his face, then grabbed his surfboard and headed into the surf.
Chris seemed to have a good day on the water as he was photographed riding some waves and chatting with Liam, 33, and Wright, also 33, during the lulls.
While the men were out enjoying their morning, Chris’ wife, Elsa Pataky, was crafting a sweet social media tribute for her husband of over a decade.
“That’s exactly the face a made when I turned 40 my love. But don’t worry, it’s gonna be ok!” she captioned a photo on Instagram. “I’ll be here for you too hold your hand and give you all my beauty secrets., 🤣, even if you look better than ever. Happy birthday @chrishemsworth! ❤️.”
While Pataky, 47 — and the rest of the world — may think her husband is looking better than ever, Chris revealed last summer that she wasn’t a fan of his jacked physique in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
After the actor bulked up even more for his role in the fourth installation, Pataky told him to take things down a notch.
“My wife was like, ‘Bleh, it’s too much,’” he told USA Today. “There are a lot of my male friends who are like, ‘Yeah!’ but a lot of female friends and family are like, ‘Yuck.’”
However, Chris accredited his shocking transformation to “boredom” from “sitting in COVID lockdown.”
“It was train, eat, train, eat. Nothing else to do,” he explained. “Then I turned up for the film bigger than I’ve ever been.”
In fact, his longtime trainer, Luke Zocchi, detailed just how much work Chris put into his physique during an interview with Page Six in July 2022.
“When we go into prep for movies like ‘Thor,’ it’s a massive increase in food,” Zocchi said. “He eats, like, six to eight meals a day.”

Zocchi says due to the Australian star’s staggering 6-foot-3 frame, he eats well over 3,000 calories a day.
“I usually just keep running him food all day,” he said, joking, “I’m like his grandmother just giving him food.”
But maintaining a high-calorie intake is only part of his process, as consistent training is just as important.
“It’s just heavy weight lifting, training at least once a day, sometimes twice a day,” Zocchi said. “It’s normally an intense, heavy workout. But we’re normally done within an hour because we’ve just pushed him that hard over that hour.”
Whatever his current training regimen consists of, it’s clearly paying off!
