The “X-Men” star was spotted strolling the streets of New York City in the rain with Ryan Reynolds on Sunday.
Jackman sported a black raincoat with matching trousers as he chatted up the “Deadpool” star. He completed the practical fit with a white undershirt and black sneakers, noticeably without his wedding band.
Reynolds dressed similarly, wearing a zipped-up black raincoat with gray pants. He opted for white sneakers during their walk, tying it together with blue-and-white polka-dotted socks and a baseball cap.
It’s unclear where the two pals were off to but they appeared to be deep in conversation as they traversed the city.
Reynolds, 46, and Jackman, 54, surely have plenty to chat about, as the “Greatest Showman” star announced Friday that he and Furness were separating after 27 years of marriage.
“We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the former couple said in a joint statement to People.
“Our journey now is shifting, and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.”
The two Australian actors wed in 1996 after meeting the year before on the set of the Australian TV show “Correlli.”

An insider exclusively told Page Six last week that this separation has been “a long time coming.”
“It happened a while ago. Friends and family knew about it,” our source claimed, adding that rumors of trouble in their marriage began to spark when Furness, 67, was notably absent from Jackman’s rehearsals for “The Music Man” on Broadway.
Another sourcetold us that the split has left Jackman “devastated,” which may be where his old pal Reynolds comes in.
The “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” stars have maintained a friendship, paired with a fake feud, for decades.
Both Reynolds and Jackman are known for lovingly bashing each other online, including Jackman’s latest stunt earlier this year.
In January, Jackman urged the Academy to not nominate Reynolds’ “Good Afternoon” in the best song category — a song featured in the musical “Spirited.”
“Now Ryan Reynolds getting a nomination in the best song category would make the next year of my life insufferable,” Jackman joked in a video posted to Twitter.
Jackman also quipped that if the song received a nomination (which it didn’t), it would make working with Reynolds on the forthcoming “Deadpool 3” film “impossible.”
Reynolds has also taken to social media a handful of times to roast his bestie, and eventually, the two teamed up to use their faux feud to raise money for charities.
All in all, it seems as if Jackman has a supportive shoulder to lean on during these tough times.
