A crazed Travis Barker fan was arrested on Friday after ramming her car through the security gate of his gated community in Los Angeles in an attempt to meet him. The woman, who was booked for trespassing, had allegedly claimed that the Blink-182 drummer had invited her via social media to come visit.
The woman had tried to gain access to Barker’s home at least four times, but was turned away each time. Eventually, she drove her vehicle through the gate, and was intercepted by Barker’s private security team. Sources told TMZ that the rocker’s security team urged him to stay calm and stay put, as they felt they had the situation under control.
At the time of the incident, Barker was on his way back from rehearsing with his band for their upcoming Coachella Weekend 2 gig. He is now planning on filing for a restraining order against the woman.
Blink-182 is replacing Frank Ocean as the music festival’s headlining act on Sunday following the R&B crooner’s controversial first show. Ocean’s rep told Page Six that the singer pulled out of his second scheduled performance “after suffering an injury to his leg on festival grounds.”
Barker reunited with Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge last Friday during Coachella Weekend 1 for the band’s first performance with all original members since DeLonge left the group in 2015.
