Tom Holland and Zendaya recently enjoyed a charming escape to Cornwall, UK, where they managed to relish some quality time away from the public eye while grabbing lunch together.
The Spider-Man stars have been in a relationship since 2021, and they chose to embrace a peaceful British experience by visiting a cozy café followed by shopping at a Walmart-affiliated store.
The couple dined at Ramshackle Rosie, a casual eatery, steering clear of the high-end dining scene found in major cities like London and New York. Afterward, they went grocery shopping at Asda.
Holland chose a traditional English breakfast featuring bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, and beans, while Zendaya enjoyed pancakes drizzled with maple syrup to reflect her American roots.
Café owner Helen Woodard recounted their visit to Cornwall Live, saying, “They walked in, and I was serving others, so I invited them to sit. They chose a big communal table, and after realizing they needed more space for other customers, I asked if they could move.” She mentioned that another patron pointed out their fame, saying, “They are famous you know,” to which she learned Holland was Spider-Man.
Woodard added, “They seemed like a normal couple. I was busy, so I didn’t talk to them much, but I respected their privacy. They came for breakfast and left a £5 tip.”
The future of MCU Spider-Man 4
Fans were taken aback when Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returned for their roles in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, reigniting excitement for the next installment of Holland’s character.
However, with MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) unable to recall Peter Parker after the movie’s occurrences, questions linger about how the storyline might proceed and the potential return of Holland’s co-stars.
Though casting details remain uncertain, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed that development on the movie is underway. He stated, “Amy [Pascal] and I are collaborating on it. We have writers ready to provide us with a draft soon.”
