Jennifer Lopez is gearing up to return to the vibrant Las Vegas Strip with a new personal endeavor. Following her hosting duties at the 2025 American Music Awards, this global icon revealed plans for her second Las Vegas residency. The acclaimed artist, known for “Let’s Get Loud,” shared that she will be performing in Up All Night Live, a series of 12 concerts at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, starting on December 30.
“Surprise JLovers!” Lopez announced to her impressive 386.4 million followers. “We’re back!”
Presale tickets will be available starting June 2, with general sales launching on June 6. For Lopez, this return signifies a fresh chapter in her performance career and a reconnection with her audience after a tumultuous year.
Her prior residency, All I Have, at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater, achieved remarkable success, running from 2016 to 2018 and generating around $101.9 million from 121 performances. However, recent challenges have highlighted that even experienced performers need moments of reflection.
Lopez chooses familiarity and stability
The star’s comeback to Vegas is nearly a year after she unexpectedly scrapped her 30-date This Is Me…Live: The Greatest Hits tour, citing personal considerations in her On the JLo newsletter.
“She was utterly heartbroken and devastated,” the newsletter conveyed. Lopez emphasized that she needed to spend time with her children, family, and close friends.
The cancellation of her tour followed criticism related to her ambitious self-funded This Is Me…Now project, which encompassed an album, film, and behind-the-scenes documentary. The project’s mixed performance and wide-ranging scope led to questions about its feasibility, adding strain to Lopez’s career trajectory.
Now, Jennifer Lopez appears to be re-evaluating her approach, sharing with Variety that her decision for a residency was intentional.
“I enjoy being nearby. It’s more convenient for me than traveling the globe,” she stated.
“I called off my tour last year, so I’ve spent a lot of time contemplating my performances and how I’d like to reintegrate. I’m planning a brief tour this summer because I haven’t gone global yet and it turned into, ‘Should I tour or opt for a residency?’ Eventually, I thought it best to choose a residency.”
